Not Exactly, but its running in the Improved Production Class races held over the weekend. Unfortunately, the race hasn't got any other Eurofords entered. Pity!!
I'm at the WPS Bathurst 12 Hour for the entire weekend and have just noticed a XR4 entry from a guy from W.A. I'll attempt to gleen some more info about the car/driver over the weekend and keep your posted. Fast Eddie.

Spot on there Damo! I went around the Support Paddock this morning and found it sitting all by itself. No-one about at all which makes me think the guys have left for home already and the car's being trucked back to W.A.
ROBDOG, You won't find it in the results because as I mentioned in my Initial Post, it's in the Improved Production Car races held over the weekend. Although, you might be able to find the results at www.natsoft.com.au in the WPS List. Photo's of the car to follow soon. Although if you look at the site Damo mentions their all there.

I did notice the car in Pit Lane with the bonnet up and it doesn't appear to have started Race 2.
But on a better note, Fast Eddie Racing got 34th out of 40th in one race. Serious!!

At the hen end of last season I had to replace the quad throttle bodies with a Cosworth manifold (long story). The crankcase vent then became very difficult to route to the catch can so we connected to the appropriate port the Cos manifold. All was well on the dyno but going through the Dipper, Forest and under brakes the oil was getting sucked out of the sump and burnt.
I knew something was wrong just as qualifying started as pressure was down 5psi. I got 1 fast lap and logged a 2:41:8 but it was red flagged about 0.4 sec before I crossed the line and I was only credited with a 2:48. Back in the pits I found the oil in the intake. Blanked off the pipe, filled the oil and hoped for the best. It failed on Conrod lap 1, Race 1. By the way - 259kph at 8500rpm at The Chase

Hey Mike,
Ah, you found my Thread and I'm glad you have had the time to contribute to it. Sorry for not trying to find you in the Support Paddock (I eventually found out that you were way out in the "boonies") behind my mates from Yokohama/Avon. I was in the 12 Hour Club Corporate area all weekend and basically hung out in there and made the odd visit to the Paddock Area and a couple of the garages to see some mates. 259kph is OUTSTANDING. Oh, I didin't realise until after I developed my photos the COSWORTH badge on the back of your XR4. Nice one. BTW I jagged a ride on Saturday arvo with Grant Johnson, Grove Fruit Juices using his team-mates XR8 V8 Ute as you might have been aware of. The Hi-Tech Racing guys were entered in a Commodore (sorry for swearing) Ute for the 12 Hour. I don't believe we got up to that terminal speed though but it was a memorable experience, to say the least!! My sincerest gratitude to Grant, John a.k.a Barrel and all the guys at Hi-Tech Motorsports and Grove Fruit Juices. Eddie. Eddie.

Ah! Scrap that. It didn't seem to link to the Video.
Mike, you may be able to help? It's a video of you at Mt. Panorama I think taken last year. It's worth a look, for sure.

I wish I could but my budget ran out at Bathurst. Now I have to start saving to go back in 2010 and have another go.

OK That's a pity. I know motorsport IS an expensive hobby so you'll have to keep us informed on how you go with the Fiesta in upcoming meets. BTW I view NATSOFT regularly so I'll keep an eye out for your times/results if you're competing.
Eddie.
