Default i busted something.... diagnose my problem plz

cruising to work this morning and something went pop... i got a small wash of water come over the bonnet and on the screen (dew covered car and wet as hell)...then it started running sh**house at low revs and when i went to pull up i had next to no brakes and had to really slam the pedal before it would slow down....

go nuts...... whats broken???????

sounds like something has blown out of intake manifold. Maybe from head to manifold the water pickup in the head

I didn't have any water, but I had a similar problem when the diaphram in the brake booster let go, I had to push real hard on the brake pedal to slow down, my revs would increase as I slowed, but once I took my foot off the brake, I had some idle issues. It could be as simple as the vacuum hose on the booster. Just a thought.

Rob did the car lose water or just dew? may be something as simple as the brake booster hose collapsing inside losing vacuum

we put the booster off the 2 door in the 4 door over the weekend... i have the 4 door one in being rekitted so ive got a good one to put back in.
