Have a look at this guy building a '69 Mustang out of paper. Unbelievable. Check out the engine and spark plug.

Interesting that he went for a Hardtop rather then the way more popular fastback...

The guy has some skill here, but I feel it's a silly path he's taken to get where he has. |

Hes an artist, end of story.
Its not to everyones cup of tea but at least he's done something original thats totally unique. If and when he sells it ...will he get his money back....no but then very few creative artists do. The painters once known yes but the rest, its the joy/thrill/challange to create something that somebody somewhere will want. I married and live with one. she is always trying something different, does she make money... not in the way I want $$$ for the hours I put into a job but it covers her cost gets her known and gives her a real pleasure in doing it. At least they are different, not like many car owners who copy others and then b*t*h when they see the same again. There are very few who do something original.

Whilst I can certainly appreciate the effort he's going to, I can't help but ask 'why?'
If I'm going to put thousands of hours into building a car, I want to enjoy the fruits of my labours when it's all done. Nothing beats that first cruise with the new rego plates on! Russ |

If you want a quiet little cry, watch something like Mecum Auto Auctions on Austar, and see the price Mustangs and other "rare" (to us) cars go for...at least a third of what they sell for here, maybe less in some cases. |

Some of those images looked CGI still. The only one that made me think it was real was the spark plug.

I even doubt the voracity of the spark plug image , and fyi bugger all skill is involved with the new 3D printers these days . Me thinks this is a giant con , the motivation for I still am wondering at .

@wrongwaynorris....Have to agree with you, what is shown in the pic looks very much like a screen dump of a 3D model
