Black screen

I have a 2008 FPV F6X and I need some advice as to why my colour screen goes black after 6 sec. When I adjust the volume, change radio stations, change temp, or anything else on the command centre; even when I select in reverse my camera will display for only 6 sec then goes black. I would appreciate any advise and feedback into if anyone has experienced this problem.

Yet another one of these questions.

Just press the on/off knob down for a few seconds until it beeps, that will cancel the sleep mode it's been put in. Some people prefer the screen off for night driving, less distracting.

Does no one read the manual anymore?

My GTF doesnt do this! My G6E does but the GTF doesnt! You have to go through the menu and turn it off and on!
