I"ve had a problem with my front end now for about 3 months, I have an XH XR6 ute and it creeks when turning at slow speeds and it really only does it when I'm braking. I went to pedders and got the 28 points test done and they told me it all looks good from what they can see. They did tell me it could be my brake calipurs or something like that. Has anyone else had a similar problem?? I need help bad, its really starting to p$#s me off.

My guess would be worn out ball joints. Mine are worn out, and they make a bit of noise.

It could be tie rod bushes or sway bar bushes. What is it like turning when stationary? It could be the Steering Rack too. I need a new one and mine creeks only when turning on the spot.

My dads got an 02 model courior twin cab. When he turned close to full lock at slow speeds it made a loud creaking noise but we told it to the ford dealer and they said there was nothin wrong. Good luck with it and let me know if you find anythin out

the Ba - Bf falcons have a similar prob its coming from the drivers side bolt that goes thru the cross member to secure the steering rack just undo the nut and pry the rack back and put some grease in and see if it goes away cos thats what we do B4 we put in on check to see if it has rubber there it just could be worn

My car is doing it also, was told it was some boot thingy near the wheel area and no real drama as it can't do anything major. The mechanic said I can leave it but it is irritating me far to much :
