Default The "What's for Lunch?" thread

Lately I have been lacking inspiration of lunchtime choices during the working day. Everything has been done to death. Leftovers are great when I have them......but I haven't been having many cooked meals lately, preferring to have a couple of handfuls of peanuts with my typical quota of a few stubbies whilst watching TV. Yes, I am the pinnacle of human fitness. It's hard to beat a hamburger with the lot, but even those are getting boring. To compound the problem, I cannot leave work to sit down and have lunch, let alone having a counter meal, such as a steak or parma. There is a myriad of creative people on this forum, with the ability to inspire car buildups, so my question is: "Can I be inspired to find a tasty lunch?" So what are you planning today, what did you have today etc.....

Today, I had some egg and potato salad. this is the third time this week. sleep:

I'm asking myself the same question....

I'm sick of Hot dogs.

I wish there was a decent bakery near work.

I had Veg lasagna and salad and I agree. Lunch can be boring as watchin paint dry and just as tasty!

I am lucky. Work at a Food Manufacturing plant - Soy Flour - and someone is always product testing. Yesterday it was Banana and Chocolate pancakes, today someone is making anzac cookies...

Know what I am having for afternoon tea!
