Over the weekend we decided to play around with the interior in Bethany's EB. The Barbie theme is now well underway with a few muppets losing there skin to create the new look, with the parcel tray and door trims receiving the pink fluff treatment.
I put my old 6x9's in the parcel tray, and they looked a bit odd, so they got painted pink too.. The pink seat covers complete the look. Next weekend will see the dash fascia sprayed pink as well to finish the job. Also put on the colour coded handles that she bought from Shaun (SnyperEB) and it looks muuuuuch better!! Before: After: |

My post above said "No offence, but that looks terrible. hahaha"
John, I recently read a post somewhere by the FORUM OWNER who said that people will not be silenced for having an opinion, but only for a breach of the sites T&C's. So, could you politely not delete posts I make stating an opinion. While the pink isn't something i'd do personally on any car I owned, as said above I'm sure the owner is happy with it. Good work guys.

you should modify barbies plastic convertable to look like an E series, and stick it to the parcel shelf, as a miniature lookalike for the car! I've seen it done with a model Monaro before, looked quite funny, i can see some potential for it here!
Haha good work guys!

Overall was good entertainment for Pete and I over the weekend!Pete ended up with black dirty hands from door trims and i had pink fluff glued to my hands :P VERY big thanks to Pete :1syellow1 |

And Pete I think Ken was more of a manbag for Barbie. Ken appears to be pretty useless to Barbie, anyway she owns the car and he has no genitals. On a serious note (and to go with the theme of the car) have you considered EA/EB Ghia doortrims & dying them pink? |

a pink re-spray would be very cool. Love the pink fluff, I had bright purple fluff in my bright purple VW beetle once, looked very cool!

I'ld say not to a pink respray, there is an Ea here in tamworth thats pink, and each to their own but it made me :
but it would suit the barbie theme, maybe a deep pink with red pearl....

It's certainly bright! I know pink isn't my sort of colour but you've done a good job of it.
