Hello All,
Once again Shannons is holding another 'Canberra Car's and Coffee' and we're all invited to attend at their new venue. To accommodate the growing number of people coming along to our Cars, Bikes n Coffee events we have hired out ‘The Hangar’ which is an old government warehouse that dates back to the 1940’s! It’s an awesome, huge indoor venue with plenty of space to grow. To celebrate this big step forward we have booked the Shannons Super Rig to come along and we will also have a number of passes to the Big Boys Toys Expo the following weekend that will be raffled off with all proceeds donated to charity. Like our previous days, this isn’t a car show, you can come and go as you please. It’s a great opportunity to have a social catch up with other members of the car and bike community. We hope to see everyone there! What: Shannons Canberra Cars ‘n’ Coffee When: Saturday 15th August Time: 9am to 2pm Where: The Hangar @ The TAMS Depot, 255 Canberra Ave, Fyshwick, ACT, 2609 (Corner of Canberra Ave & Lithgow Street) Web: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CanberraCarsnCoffee/ Members wishing to attend please add your name to the list below: 1. Ray 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Regards Ray

No problems mate, it's not really a 'formal' event so all good

Realise it's a turn up whenever you want event but would be good if a few of us went at roughly the same time if possible. Will worry about that closer to the event.

If the smash repairs only take the usual five days my car should be ready and I'll try and pop in. Kids activities are already booked so I'll see what I can do to get there before 2pm.

From the event on FB. Update as of today.
!!! IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ !!! There are two parking area's now for Cars, Bikes n Coffee. The first, and most important is inside The Hangar. ANY vehicle is welcome to park inside. From 8:30am - 10:00am the boom gates will be up and you can proceed slowly following the bollards and marshal's instructions directly inside. There is strictly no stopping or parking outside the roller doors. From 10:00am - 12:30pm the boom gates will be down and a marshal will be stationed there opening the gates for people coming in and leaving From 12:30pm onwards the boom gates will be open for the rest of the afternoon to allow safe and easy departures in the afternoon. Again, proceed slowly out of the venue and follow marshal's instructions Please make sure when you are moving in and out of the venue that you do so slowly and cautiously as there will be people about. We also now have a 'General Parking' area for those who want to come along but don't want to park their car in the display area. This is out the front of the building and there will be a walkway open into the side of the building. I know we typically don't have any issues with misbehaviour at these events, so view this as a general caution. This is a secure government facility. There are security camera's all over the site and any silly behaviour will not be tolerated, and could cost us future use of the site. Let's keep our good track record! Please be patient coming in and out of the building, this is the first time the site has been used in this way so our logistics plans are being deployed for the first time. Thanks everyone! https://www.facebook.com/events/1604328466523459/ 10am at Office Works sounds like a plan. Looking forward to rolling up together and catching up guys. Cheers The other Stu
