well just an update...

i had a ea 5speed in 'perfect' working order linded up 2 be bought 2day so i could scrp the t5, but apparently it got ridden off last night, the lady said when i called to confirm... so i said it, n i looked in the papper, bought a sec clutch n fly wheel, for 80 bucks. clutch needs ne clutch kit and fly wheel is in realy gd nick. and i have a gear box with bellhousing, wires, shifter but no surround lined up for sale for 250.

just a question tho, would i b betta gettin a new clutch or gettin a clutch kit, i got a quote for 245 for a brand new stock ed clutch, is the gd or should i get a clutch kit?
