Default EA falcon parts - help please?

Gday Ive got a slate coloured EA (browny bronzy silvery one) and someone told me that colour stopped being produced after the EA series, is this true? Because I'm after front exterior mirrors, door handles, and rear boot garnish in that colour..

thanks..

For a start, the EA-EB-ED series never had a colour coded rear garnish. The colour coded mirrors could be pulled off a EA fairmont Ghia in your colour.

Exterior colour coded doorhandles were only available on the LATE EB2s/ EDs so your colour might of been discontinued.

Best to ring ford with your Paint code number and check up.

Personally, I reckon the colour coded garnish's have always looked crap. The Ghia has a red (same red as the taillights) over black one, and I've always liked it. In my opinion, a much better option.

Wasn't there a few special models that had colour coded rear garnishes?

I know the 'normal' production models Ea to Ed never had 'em- maybe a few of the independant tuning firms live SVO and Brock that were fiddling around with the EA falcon in the late 80's/ early 90's made a couple colour coded ones.

Personally I would go for a latter model Eb2/ED garnish and taillights.

Halo, it's looks like you will be painting these yourself.

As others have said, colour coded garnish doesn't suit the car, in saying that, mate it's your car and do whay you like.

Garnishes are gheap as to buy, so get another and colour code it, then you can alternate!
