Default Ford v Holden @ WSID

Is anyone from here participating in this event on Sat apart from Hot460 (Rich) in his Coupe.
I looked at the entry list and out of 100 odd cars there is only about 25 Fords.
If anyone goes, come and say gidday to Rich and I in his Blue XA Coupe. Running in Super Sedan.

I am pretty sure it is:-

Street Fighter not quicker than 13.00
Super Street 11.00 to 12.99
Super Sedan quicker than 10.99

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Comon Wade, i'm sure there's a way around it. Isn't there a new spa out your way, im sure a day out there might make her forget that you took off to go burn some rubber.

Yeh, it was good to see you and Rich out there. There wasn't too many Fords although the Street Fighter class was full of them.

Hi Craig, 13.7 is good, what mods just a CAI?
Also what tyre did you end up going for?

Hey Mark, CAI and cats back, just the standard dunlops. They only caught me out on the last pass. Once conditions and the car got cooler it decided to spin at launch, I didn't allow for that in my calculations, got done! How have you been?

The 6 speed really gets full potential out of these cars. Even without the CAI and cats back it'd be good for a 13.8 or 13.9. The engineers have tuned the auto just right for good launches....

Yep, new car, 2nd outing though. I've still my old Di Filippo headers and cats. I'll somehow get them on eventually but that will be it. Ford are too cluey about the flash tuner these days. What's going on with you Leigh?

Not a real good day, but we had fun anyway.
Best for the day was a 10.40 @ 129, which was a little slower than expected.
The torque convertor is giving up the ghost and Rich was losing about an extra tenth on the 60' compared to the previous pass.
First round he put out the 2nd top qualifier with a 10.5 @ 129 against the losing 8.2.
Got knocked out in the second round with a 10.7 (1.69 60' instead of the usual 1.4).

Good to see you again Craig. You got through a few rounds and must of had a good time out there.

Burnz: Sub 10 sec cars run in Super Sedan as there is no bottom cut-off. There is a few 7 sec SS/AA cars around. (Unless they run a specific class like S/Gas, SCO, etc.)

Yeh, had a great time! Need to improve my tree work. Got down to the last 3 pairs, R/T was a .3 compared to the other guy's .0 something. The bug is biting, would like to do a few more of these meetings with the BF. The car is predictable under the different conditions, unlike myself! Good to see you guys again.....
