I need to know if anyone out there has fitted Twin side draught dellortos carbies to a 1600 mk1 kent capri engine...and if they clear the brake booster?? thanks..caprigt

i am just about to do it and have seen people do it. you can actually lower the brake booster by remounting it in the holes below the original one, oyu do have to re-drill one hole though.
it is possible |

Don't mess around moving the brake booster. Just get a raised inlet manifold. They come up on ebay every now and again and they bolt straight on with clearance to spare. They look better and you can access the dizzy better as well.

hey im tryin to do the same thing to my mk2 escort. they dont fit in with the brake booster. Surely a booster and mastercylinder from another car would fit, a smaller one that doesnt take up half the engine bay...

Subaru are the go. they fit to fire wall, are small and powerful.
