Cool Seats For An Escort?????????

Hey guys,

Its been a while since my last post but here goes. I recently SNAPPED the back off my drivers side front seat (beyond repair) and have had no luck what so ever finding a good pair of seats to fit my 1977 MK2 Escort Ghia. I am told that ghias have different mounts to the GL can anyone clarify ??? Also can anyone tell me what seats will bolt right in, or be easily modified to fit ????? Better yet anyone in Perth wanna sell me a pair ??

Cheers,
James :

the seat rails are different.
on the Ghia's and RS's the floor is raised at the front for the seat to mount to, whereas on the other models, the floor is flat.

Red face

So does this mean, that if you were to get seats out of a Mk2 GL and attach Ghia rails, they would bolt straight into my Ghia ??? What Im asking is if ghia rails will bolt onto GL seats and be mounted in my Ghia ??? :

Hope this makes sense ??

Please reply ASAP as i have been driving around with only one front seat for a couple weeks now and am waiting for the fuzz to come and give me a yellow sticker out:
