well tonight the missers and I went to watch xXx 2
now a 600hp car.. yes ok i believe that 160 - 200 mph ( 257 - 321kmph).. ok i believe that But that same car going off the road at 130mph and ending up on a train track shreding it tyres and THEN speeding up from 160 mph to 220mph with basic steel on steel .. How the hell can they think that people will beleave that Now i know its just a movie ( 6 out of 10 ) ( and 3 of that is for the cars ) But come on make it at least seem a bit real

All those movies are bullshit... XXX sounds like a cheap ripoff of beer or porn. Oh, and Fast and the Furious absolutely makes me wanna heave. Do you think they could hire actors that can act next time? Maybe while they're at it, a scripwriter that can write scrips?
Or is that too much to ask of the 3 hour long advertisements they show in cinemas these days. Icecube... what kind of name is that?? "Hi, I'm Icecube". ****er. He should've quit BEFORE he made barber shop and died before barber shop 2 was a distant idea. Icecube... UUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Now I'm angry, thanks. I'm tired. I'm going to bed.

I have to agree Ice cube is such a lame name.
XXX sucked so why bother seeing the remake if this one is just as bad? |

Really peoples - it's a MOVIE!!!! It's NOT advertised as a documentary, & sometimes complete B.S. over the top type stuff provides a good escape from everyday living. With todays audience - it's little wonder why movie makers are taking things to even more extreme measures, as 1 movie constantly fights another for the viewers dollars. Anyone thats seen the 1st would automatically know theyre in for more of the same, which prompts the question - why bother going to see it if you wanted to watch a 200% authentic movie?
I watched it on friday night, first time Ive been to the movies in over 12 months, & enjoyed it for the outing it was. The script is as pointed out, pretty far fetched, though a healthy sprinkling of the odd ford here & there didn't go unnoticed. The guy that runs the car jacking bit = Xhibit from MTV's 'Pimp my Ride' show also. |

I cannot find it within me to like a movie that is over the top... XXX was riduculous sorry man; the bit where he outruns the avalanche was laughable

Ice Cube was good in the Friday movies, but IMO he doesn't cut it as an action star.
Even though the stunts are so unrealtistic and all that, i like xXx, although im yet to see xXx2

Ice Cube rocked in Boyz N tha Hood & Trespass. I like his music (the old stuff) and when he was with NWA and the Westside Connection.
But lately he doesn't seem to entertain me anymore, maybe I'm getting old. |

I actually *gasp* liked the movie, sure it was farfetched, but it was good to watch. Sometimes its good to watch a movie with just mindless violence and action in it.
