Default Well done heljas!

Noticed in the vic/tas meet site that jason (heljas) from the e-series section had a PB and a sectional win in AFF Heathcote Drag Day held on Saturday. Jason ran a 15.4669 @ 91.74mph best of 2 runs down the strip which earnt him the prize for f6hi class.

Well done to all the other e-series boys down there on the day displaying the true power that e-series produce.

Again well done!

Are you sure that's not a line-locker? Did you have your foot on the brake? To me a burnout is accelerator to the ground with no brake. Top effort if no brake involved mate!!!

a line locker has nothing to do with the tyre of burnout either :P
its a device used to prevent the rear brakes being applied.

the term your looking for is more commonly reffered to as a 'standstill'

Thanks mate! There should be a bit more to come from it as well. If you can get the 60ft down to a 2.2 or 2.1 it will really be flying.

i spoke to my mechanic this morning and he has a few ideas as to get low -mid 14s out of it so time will tell

( my mechanic is my old man lol)

he was telling me of a car he built when he was younger and out of a 186 in a hr he was getting low 14s and didnt open the motor just a carby and heavy valve springs

so things looking good for the low - mid 14s out of it

cant wait
