just needs to be hooked up to the ceiling light, just find out where the wires come to at the dash, I'm not exactly sure where the wires are but I'm sure thats all you'd need to do.

Braden's suggestion sounds the go. I thought the wiring was already behind the dash, and all that was needed was to connect up to that? Anyhoo, check out the fordmods forums (www.fordmods.com.au) there is a tutorial in the Documents section on how to do this. _2:

its easy as to hook up. get any constant wire and run it to one side of the bulb holder then run the other wire and tap into the wire which is connected to the door switch. basicly when you open the door the switch grounds itself to the car body completing the circuit for the light.
i done it on my old EA makes a big difference in the interior at night. |

im pretty sure its down the passenger side b pillar, but could be wrong. take the light out and have a look which way the wires run, to the left or right.

you dont need the ceiling light wires....run the constant 12v+ wire from the radio or something (easiest to find) and run a short length from each door switch to the bulb holders (just tap into the exsisting wires) i thought my diagram was pretty self explanatory...LOL

SOLUTION: You should have run a 4 or 8 gauge power cable with inline fuse dedicated to the amp...

yes i have a 4 gauge power cable running from the battery to the amp! just to clear that up. what I'm talking about is the cable to turn the amp on and off, I'm not quite sure now but I'm pretty sure I tapped into the power wire that goes to the headunit. haha as if I'd run an amp of that little wire!!! :
