Look in "Messages"

There should be a message received.

Some phones have an attachment you save in the ringtones directory.

Some play the ringtone when you click on the message and store it automatically. Others will either ask where you want it saved, or it will be at the bottom of the screen under "options" or something.

Good luck,

they should have sent you a URL that you have to visit from your phones browser to download....telstra is very smart as the charge you for the ringtone and GPRS charges to download it to your phone which is charged at 2.2c / Kb.

wow 2.2c per kb.
thats alot.

just obtain the song yourself mate, then use the phonetools CD to edit it and put it on the phone.

full songs take up to much space considering there is only 8mb on the V3 for music, photos and videos anyway.

That happened to me last week. Using a Telstra mobile for the first time, I had them set everything up at the Telstra shop. Then when I got home, I bought a wallpaper and I got the same message but no link, no nothing. I rang them and they sent a software update to my phone. Did all that and it still didn't work so they credited me $3.95 and told me to try again and if it failed, to ring them again. I didn't bother trying again though.

I had the same problems with BlueSkyFrog (twice) They suggested I switch my phone off before I order and then after it shows as being sent, switch the phone back on & since doing it that way, I've received all products without any issues. But I've yet to re-try Telstra.

Just ring Telstra and get them to either fix it for you or credit you. And try the phone on/off aswell and see it that works for you. Also, make sure everything is setup correctly on your phone (WAP/GPRS)

I haven't had any issues with Jamster ever. Only Telstra & BSF.

Hope that helps.
Krissy.

Thanks for all that guys. And girl.

I have tried the GPRS thing and it says it cant connect or something so Ill have a play and see if i can get it working. But in the meantime Its ok.

Krissy: Thanks for all that info. Ill have a look at jamster as the tones on the phone suck big time. The on/off thing sounds interesting. Anyways not in a big rush.

And im too chilled to do anything about it. It didnt take any of my credit so im not bothered.

Cheers,
Mark
