Has to happen. Why limit yourself to less than half the market? Especially now that autos perform as well as manuals. Give the buyer the choice.

As long as they offer a manual for the purists, offering an auto would open up huge potential world wide. I was surprised that the Fiesta ST is still a manual only proposition, I know it’s a small car but Polo GTI is auto only now, and most competitors offer an auto model.
