Default royal sausages

I'm not a royalist, by any stretch, however....
a trip to my local butcher this morning for some meat for a bbq, and he's made commerative sausages for todays royal wedding.
they are; pork, beef, mushroom and english mustard all in one.

without starting a debate about the quality of meat supermarket vs local butcher, this is the type of personal service that keeps us going back.
I think he's done it tongue in cheek!

Or as most customers would be women that would do the shopping and they seem to actually care about this more then men.

I've seen green sausages made for St.Patricks day; so basically go run a party for a party's sake. Add a few coldies and it's always all good.

Seriously though; of those who are all for a Republic, who would honestly knock back a knighthood?

Me - even if there was the remotest chance that I'd be offered one.

Agreed entirely. Nothing more than exalted nobodies at best.

I have to admit, like others, my mind was in the gutter when I first read this thread title

Had a bit of a struggle to get it out of her cold, dead fingers - only to find the pages stuck together ....

and I don't need a knighthood to have a nice ring ....

Interestingly enough, 'sir shedcoupe' is an anagram of 'chides poseur', 'crushed poise', 'specious herd', 'chops residue', 'seduce his pro', and 'iced horse pus'.

Sorry- didn't mean to upset your Mum - my apologies
BTW - your link didn't work.
You sure you wouldn't like being called 'Sir Shedcoupe'? Sounds very dignified; Sir!
