I am just wondering if anyone has a Fiesta and if they notice when they press reasonably hard on the accelerator from the idle position it makes a sucking sound in the intake? Is this normal for Fiesta and if not is it a common problem or something?

Zetec can not and does not kick in. It is an engine name it is not a Ford Europe version of V-TEC or MiVEC
