speed=distance/time

its easy to work it out
60ft in km= 0.018288
time in hours = 0.000277777778 per second
speed= .018288 * (say 2 seconds is your 60ft time) 0.000555555
so 32 km/h

Find me a car that linearly accelerates.

good maths but average speed probably isn't what useless is after.

how fast do you think he is going at the end of the 60'

At a guess 2-2.5 seconds I would say you would be doing 40-45kmh not fast at all. after 6 seconds you're still not doing 100kmh

V^2 - U^2 = 2AS

we can assume linear acceleration (I know this is not the case but for the sake of the thread)

S = 1/2at^2
hence
a=2S/t^2

thus

V^2= 2(2S/T^2)S

V = SQRT(4S^2/T^2)

assuming a 60' of 2seconds

V = SQRT(4*(18.288)^2/2^2)
= 18.25ms-1 or 65.71km/h

60' in 2.30sec =57.2km/h

And, when the doctor said I didn't have worms any more, that was the happiest day of my life

Useless, why do you want to know what your speed is at 60'?

Try not to get too distracted with numbers for the sake of numbers.....just focus on the things that are going to make your wagon faster, lol.

60' in 2.30sec =57.2km/h[/QUOTE]

More great maths but assumptions are WRONG.

A really well launched XR6T would be lucky to get to 60k in 2.3 sec

A stock auto falcon auto takes a little bit over 4 sec to 60k.

Now you will be able to trim this up a bit but not that much

Its all good matey!!!! You know me by now..bit of a larikin but having fun...the smile rarely leaves my face . Slinging the bull like when a bunch of mates get together and talk about nothing for hours just to enjoy the company over a beer or snags...When we say goodbye we dont remember anything we talked about but its always good to hangout in good company...Some people dont like it but they are normally the ones who havent been laid for a while...they need to release some tension.. : bwahahah
