Sorry for another non-Ford thread.... I couldn't find a Navara forum :P
I'm trying to help a friend remove some speakers from his '97 Navara. Basically we are having trouble removing the window winders and that is the only thing stopping us from getting the door trims off. Is there a certain trick to it? Or does anyone know a forum that can help? Cheers

they've for a C clip on them like the old holdens did, needs a special tool to remove the clip, but other than that they're **** easy
when you replace the handles, just pop the clips all the way into place, make sure you've got the handle in the right spot and give the handle a whack!

being a nissan the clips will probably be facing away from the handle ( the open side of the circlip will be on the side away from the winder handle) watch when it comes off that it dosnt fly off somewhere and be lost. ( they are called jesus clips, when the fly off you say "jesus christ- where did that go ")
if you dont have the proper forked shape tool you can use a thin piece of wire with about a 3mm L shaped bend on the end to hook in the back of the clip, or a small screwdriver to push the clip from the front , or a piece of rag and pull it around the handle so it goes into the gap between the doortrim and the handle and catchs the clip pulling it off.
