Default Tickford Badges

Hi,

First post on the forums. I am in the UK and wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of where I can get some Tickford Badges over there.

Can't get hold of them here. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome aboard mate :sm_headba ! Good to see another ford member! I'm pretty lucky that I've got a ford spare parts place (no, not rex gorell) so I headed over there and got one.

Try a few wreckers or spare parts places. Could be able to purchase off the net too.

The British company who owned Tickford was called Prodrive, Tickford was an australian based operation however.

Tickford was originally british.. They started out modifying Aston Martins. The Guy that ran Tickford UK even had an XR8 i think it was..

OK,

Thanks for that guys. They will be going on a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 which were all converted at Tickford which, as has been said, was a UK company in the UK in 1987. I have attached a photo of mine, (with badges). The badges are for a friends car.

I am told that these badges can be bought at Ford garages in Aus ???

Any more info would be appreciated.

Nice Sierra! That looks great. Tickford badges can be bought at any Ford dealer here in Aus.

Nice car mate, we never got them here. If all else fails I can ask my dealership how much they'd want for badges, but generally they aren't the best for prices.

Thanks guys,

I have seen them at $50 aus for 3 on ebay (with no bids). I am just a little concerned as Aus is a long way away....... and England look like they might win back the ashes........ not!!!

Have attached a couple of photos...

The white one next to mine is Ford Build No 3 (prototype) which belongs to a mate of mine. There were 4 prototype RS500s, all of which were white in colour.

And one of your great touring cars is for sale here.......
http://www.ibcholdings.com.au/cars/s...rsaleinfo.html

BTW...... The sharp eyed among you will notice the headlamp protectors on my car which come from EGR Austaralia............ Anyone know if these are still available over there??

Apparently there is an AUII XR6 there, an EF one too. Also seen pics of a HSV GTO (non Vauxhall) parked in front of the Thames.
