Is it possible to attach a picture to a second post? I am getting an error message, and even a copy of the file won’t attach.

Thanks

No, I wanted to attach an image I had already used in another thread. I couldn't see any way to access or reference attached images already in use so I tried to upload it again.

This is what it says:

You have already attached this file in thread : Driving Lights

go into your user CP section

Down the bottom of the right of the screen there is an attachments options

Click on that, and that will allow you to delete attachements

Or...

Just rename the file you are trying to upload

Thanks for taking the time to look into this Gary. I did try renaming the file, and also tried making a copy of the file but it still "rejected" it. In the end I cropped it slightly and it worked. I think it probably worked if I had saved it with a different compression level etc too, just a change of the file physical (electronic???) properties.

Good point for the future though when wanting to attaching the same image twice in to threads, make sure its a different size and name

Cheers
