Default [VIC] Heathcote B-series Invasion 22nd June

Hey people,

Who wants to go to Heathcote Park Raceway on Sunday the 22nd of June for a full days racing?

A perfect opportunity for beginners to get some practice and you get to meet some other B-series members. You can come as a spectator as well if you don't want to race.

http://www.heathcoteraceway.com.au/

Cost is $40 to race and helmets are free (you hand your licence in as security).

Lets see how many B-series cars we can get there.

Geezs that was quick! If your reaction time is as good at the track as it was replying to this thread, you won't have any problems.

Onya mate!

I have a 21st the night before. Going to be very hard to tell a mate I grew up with I'd rather go drag racing with a bunch of blokes from the internet haha... Nah I will just have to not drink and get to bed early.

I found this amusing - heathcote park website, test n tune rules page

Heathcote Park Raceway has a strict
NO Glassware
NO Alcohol
NO Drugs
NO Animals, Policy
Food and refreshments including Alcohol available at the track.
The Pit area is a Dry area at all times.

Can't wait.

Going by the title of this thread and the calendar on the Heathcote website, it seems we are just going to turn up for the test-n-tune and race with anybody else (or other club) that turns up on the day.

I'll be keen for a pre-meet too XR6MKII.. At least that way I won't get lost like I did on my way to Calder Park last weekend... Where were you thinking in the way of meet points?

Yes mate, it takes at least 40 cars to secure a Club Only day and they aren't taking any more Club bookings anyway. Don't worry it will be a lot of fun, last time we got to flog the Magna Club who turned up as well. I am hoping for some Commodores this time.

Hey XR6MKII

Where abouts are you from?

I am located in the south east suburbs.

You have pretty much the same mods as I do except I have a 3" cat and an ss induction growler kit.

Can't wait to come up against you.

Do you have a 4 speed or 6 speed auto?

Yep, gates open at 9, scruiteneering opens at 9.30 I think.

Closes at 3.30pm from what I remember.

It's the best place to go to learn how to race, as you get lots of runs.
