Default Sandown Track Day Feb 8

Hi all!!

Just letting everyone know of the first Motorsportevent of the year - Feb 8 at Sandown. Entry forms are available on the website (www.fpvxrclub.com), and also from me (motorsport@fpvxrclub.com).
If you are interested in coming along for a look on the day, please email me to let me know names.

I'll be playing on the day, but it won't be in the Orange Turbo Ute!!!! Time will tell!!! But it will be exciting!!!!

Cheers,

Brad

As long as you are a member of a CAMS affiliated club, and have a CAMS license, more than happy for you to play on the day!!!

There are still places available if there are any late thinkers!! And just a little reminder that if you intend to pop down to Sandown to watch, your name will need to be on the gate, otherwise security won't let you in.....

Depends on what you want to see.... the boys get on the track around 9:30 and go all day. Scrutineering is from 7:30am. Track closes at 5pm- we don't stop for lunch....

While I'm here, could I just ask a favour from those that were at the track today. I'd really appreciate it if anyone took photos/videos of the F6 I had at the track today to either email them to me or throw them onto a CD for me please?
If its also possible for the hi res versions, that'd be pefect!!!

Thanks heaps, and sorry for asking lots!!!!

Smile Club donates proceeds from BBQ to Bushfire Fund

Hi All, thought that I would give you all a bit of an update of what the committee has decided to do.

Last week the club was asked by HSV Owners Club of Vic, to man the BBQ and at short notice we were able to help them out as the people that generally do this task were required to attend to urgent personal matters.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for helping out throughout the day manning the BBQ area, Micheal & Diana, Andrew, Mark, Michelle, Petra, Anthony and others who may have helped throughout the day as without your help the following would not be possible.

As a result of this all proceeds from the selling of sausages and drinks on the day are going to be donated to the Bushfire Appeal. As a bit of a bonus GBG's work is matching "dollar for dollar" for any donations, so we have decided to donate through this method which goes directly to the Red Cross.

I know that the devastation of these fires has already affected a couple of our members and I am sure that in some way you may also know of some one who may have been affected by this tragedy.

So far from the efforts of the BBQ and a donation from myself the Vice-President we have raised $914.00. Should any other club members wish to add to this please do not hesitate to contact me. I will let everyone know of the total on Monday after the funds have been handed over for the Appeal.

Sensational idea MOTIV8....Couldn't agree more....

On the subject of the F6, it was a pleasure to have you tag along..... Pity we didn't have a passenger session at the end of the day!!! Put it this way, it won't be the only time the car hits the circuit.... It'll be back!!!
Our "plan" is still very much positive, there's another meeting with FPR this week hopefully, so once news comes through, I'll pass it on to members....
