All racers deserve the opportunity to be rewarded for their efforts and the Rocket Allstars Racing Series provides Sportsman racers with their own end-of-season pointscore fund. At the end of the 2005/2006 ANDRA Australian Drag Racing Series, the top three pointscorers in each of ANDRA’s ten Group Two, Three and Four brackets could walk away with prizemoney. Not parts or credit notes but real money that the racer can use how they choose. “I believe that drag racers need opportunities to earn rewards for their efforts,” explained Graeme Cowin, Rocket Industries Managing Director. “We’re very happy to have reached an agreement with ANDRA that allows us to put opportunities in place for all Sportsmen racers. “If this grows the way we expect it to,” he added, “within three years the payouts will be bigger and we will pay further down the line.” The only requirement is that the racer must run the supplied Rocket Allstars Racing Series sticker on both sides of their race car or bike for the duration of each round of the Australian Drag Racing Series that they contest. No purchase is necessary. Stickers will be available from the credentials staff at each round. hey good luck with that, i was talking to someone at work today about this scheme and they laughed and commented 'oh that would be lucky to pay for the fuel' but you have to consider that not that long ago you got nothing, maybe just a trophy for your mantlepiece!!!
Hopefully i'll be able to get up to WSID to see some racing this season!!!
