Default What's the best phone?

Hi i'm lokking for a new phone...What should I get. I like the look of most Nokia's but some Motorola's look alright. It needs to be strong as I BMX ride alot of the time. Preferably with Camera, Video Camera, Voice Recorder.

What phone do you reccomend?

Cheers,

The one I'm selling on ebay right now

There are some good phones out there now.
The Nokia 6101 is good with nice features looks alright and clamshells are pretty strong good price.
Sharp GX30i, I have for the last 3 years been using a Sharp phone, Top phone very reliable hasn't been a problem to me.
New one on the bloke Motorola U6 Pebl, Got some real great features in it, Love the voice activation with calling people, You don';t need to pre record your names for calling it will recognise your words and call that person, It also opens very easy.

Some of the others may look cooler but you can't go past Nokia's !
Cameras are always better than the rest.....I'm about to go the N70.

See if you can try one for a few hours before you buy one. They're a bloody slow piece of equipment. They've probably got more features and applications than most, but I doubt many people use them anyway.

N70 definately, strong enough to withstand drunken nights, and enough features to entertain guests!

Motorola V3x best value phone out there at the moment, i know a lot of people about 15 who have this phone including myself had it for the last three months on a 20 buck plan and the phone is free. It has super reception (i am in tassie for where reception is sought after like gold) music player is great, I use it in the gym regularly, camera 2mp with bright light is tops can use it at parties or just taking random pics of stuff and interface is awesome. I think it’s a great phone overall and would highly recommended!!!

I agree there. I got the same deal. $20 plan $0 upfront. Great deal only thing is I decided to extend the warranty from 12 to 24 months for $29. (Covers the phone for the length of the contract).

Absolutely agree... I went from a V3 to a V3X... Both are good, the latter is simple and concise.

Slow is an understatement. I have what was supposedly their best camera phone at the time (the Nokia N90) and I have never had such a rubbish phone. I'm onto my 4th handset due to numerous faults. The second replacement handset took 2 months to get to me from Nokia. I'll be going back to an i-mate phone (a true smartphone unlike the Nokia) next month so if anyone wants to buy a cheap Nokia N90 then let me know.

Out of all the pgones I have used and tested at work .... I got myself a Sharp GX30i ... would have to be one of the easiest phones to use ... I have destroyed one though ... but lawnmowers usually win in these cases (like what happened to mine ... the screen survived though ... go figure). Hence why i went out and got myself another one after i destroyed the first one.

Have dropped it several times and it hasn't marked at all ... and it gets knocked around doing deliveries and what not with work ... and it work perfectly ... would have to be the best phone I have ever used.

Bought myself a Nokia 3250 with a 512mb memory card. I love it. It has a 2mp camera, video camera, MP3 player. The only thing I can fault it at is that it doesn't have a flash for the camera, which I thought to be odd.
