Default Which is the best AU workshop manual?

Hi guy's,

I have been meaning to get myself a Gregory's manual, and was wondering if they are regarded as the best?

I know there is another one, Haynes? Or something like that.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Scott.

Ive got Max Elleries and Gregories. Id say they Max Ellery one covers it in greater detail.

Would like to know more about the ford manual..

Any manual is better than none. Though I prefer autos! LOL.

I've heard the Ellery one is good - I have the Haynes one, and it's not too bad, though some of the pics and instructions are obviously for EF/EL.

i actually went to ford to get the "factory " manual it was $300 +bucks which i have no doubt would be better, but ended up with a gregories which seems pretty good on most stuff, but if you want pull your auto to bits ,other than replacing seals and general servicing ,it might be better to get the ford book
