Default MOTOR magazine recalled

The Australian Censorship Board have today ordered ACP Publishing to recall the August issue of MOTOR magazine after receiving thousands of complaints from the western subburbs.

The ACB have ruled that MOTOR has failed to deliver more than 99% holden bias and therefore cheated its readership of school mastabatory content.

A spokesmodel for MOTOR, amAc, stated "We do not know how this happened. We just asked the new journalist to fill it full of truth and excitement and they incorrectly did articles on european sports cars and ......F F F F FORD".

They even showed the F F F ...FORD as being competived and said nice things about it.

We support ACB is their stand against this travesty and assure our readers that it will never happen again.....

We are even looking at getting Comrade Kev to say Sorry on behalf of us all to help the reduce grief and horror that has been faced by the true believers....

Councilling is available on 1800 HOLDEN 4 EVA.

I reckon that should be more directed to Wheels than Motor. IMO Motor have been pretty good when judging between the Fords and Holdens.

So how many Holdens/HSV's made it to last years PCOTY finals?

Which car has Motor described as the best Australian performance vehicle built?

I dont know how you can say they are biased when the Fords have won more comparisons.

Problem with getting Kev to say sorry mate, is that he's disappeared as he's trying to keep down the bad chinese he had last night by telling a lot of "knock knock, HU's there" jokes.

Well...to be fair, I let my subscription go a couple of years ago when every issue was WRX - V's - Anything We Can Find...or HSV - V's - Whatever...so I have not read it in quite a while.

Aside from the PCOTY shenanighans, almost all of the other editorials/features, featured GMH or Subaru product at the time and I just plain got sick of it...it was not like it was only for a couple of issues either. Takes just a BIT more than that to make me wander off...

Seeing as I sort of worked for ACP in a round about capacity at the time, and I took the MM and WM staff to task in a jovial way but the response I got from them at the time was something akin to: "...but I don't understand...we have to compare the WRX / HSV to SOMETHING this issue, and the next, and the next, and the next..."

No different to this Steve dribbler on TGA running around with his hair on fire yelling "OH....OH...Nissan...GTR...AAAAGGGHHH...BEST CAR IN THE WORLD...EVER...GTR....AAAAGGHHHH.....LET"S COMPARE THE GTR TO EVERYTHING....THAT'S GOOD TV...HEY GUYS...GUYS?...."

My inner cynic has come to the surface today...:evil3:

Thanks RG.

Hey guys, read the mag. It has a lot of very good articles and a comparo of BMW 335i, F6 and Audi S4.

Hint, the F6 was not thrashed.....

It is one of the best MOTORs I have read in a long time.

For those who are a little bit confused, my original post was......satire...
