Default heater switches

can the heater switches be removed by just removing the radio suround panel as that panel clips in to the big oval dash suround thanks

Hi. You need to remove radio to expose 2 screws holding the big oval panel in place. After the screws are out the panel clips in place. Cheers MD

yes but the black panel around the radio slips in to the big oval facia panel which im hoping comes out separately

The radio comes out first, then the heater controls. Then the oval facia.

Hi. If its a factory radio the front of the radio is fixed to the rest of the unit. If it is an aftermarket radio it will be mounted in a sleeve that will stop access to the screws. Either way the radio will need to be removed. Cheers MD

i know series 1 AU's have 4 screws holding the tear drop, pretty sure S2/3 would be the same. but heater controls on the S1 i know are held to the teardrop with 5 screws, not sure with S2/3.

yes there are 4 screws that hold the heater switches to the oval surround which tells me the the whole oval panel must be uncliped to get to the screws
