Hey guys,
I tried to find some info on this but couldn't figure it our. I have 08 XR8 Ute. Hoping to install the seats from a 12 XR6 Series 2 Sedan into my ute. Does anyone know if this will be a straight swap? As always, thank you in advance, Julian |

Hi,
The utes usually have seats that can flip forward, (in order to put items behind the seats) If you don't care about that feature, and can manage with sliding the seats on its rails and adjusting the back rest forward then the sedan seats should fit in the ute. Some high models have electric motors in the seats. XR models usually don't have these. If you are fitting electric seats to a vehicle without them, you will need to patch in wiring for the power supply etc. Cheers, |

The airbag connector is the biggest problem...make sure it is the same...I am not up on utes, but in 08 they might not have had them even?

The seats just disassemble with a socket set the the leather pulls off the foams then the foam slips off. Each detail on the seat has a corresponding trench and Velcro on the foam.
