hey all,
im going to be respraying the xr soon but before that i want to change the front nosecone around the headlights to EL styles..... now is the headlight surround a seperate piece to the lower bumper?? does anyone make fibreglass copy's of the headlight surround? or is ford the only place to get one? thanks guys EDIT..... not the RED XR6 im talking bout my BLUE XR8 |

found one on ebay same colour as mine got outbidded by $30 argh!!! how much do these normally go for anyways? |

Yeah I got one, but it's in crap condition so i'm looking for a good one!
Last one I saw on eBay went for $610 with a lip spoiler.

yeh i thought id got one on ebay not many people bidded on it so to be safe i went up to 450 sold for 480! same colour aswell!

That sucks would have been worth bidding a fair bit extra than that $30 if it was already painted and just a bolt on job.
What about an aftermarket bar like XR venom style? |

yeh the venom bars are $850 unpainted undelivered id say a genuine bar wouldnt be too much more plus with a venom front bar you would need side skirts and then rear skirt

the el xr front bumper at ford was $1100 last time i asked about it, and that was without the tickford spoiler!

Iv got a mate that works at ford in spare parts, just for the XR front bumper is $750 new and for a full conversion ie: lights, indercators, bumper is $1680. U pay more for the lights than u do for the bumper.
