Default Dezza's T5 Conversion Day

Hi all. After the success of SnyperEB's MPI conversion day, plus the fact I am fairly useless with a spanner, I would like to make everyone aware of my T5 conversion day. Details are as follows:-

Saturday 18th November
9.00am

I will have a BBQ and will have beer, Jim Beam, and softdrink. It will be at my house, PM me for the address. Just hope it doesn't rain because I plan to do it in the driveway.

I've decided I may as well swap over the pedal box, since my heater core is fairly blocked, and being a dash out job, I can kill two birds with one stone. I might buy a new heater core and try to swap it over then as well. Let me know who's interested.

Hey dezza,
I know nothing about the conversion but am willing to lend a hand!
I am busy until lunch time so will be a little late.
Can you send your address...

Doesn't matter if you don't have any experience with T5 conversions, you're welcome anyway. Just hope thst a few people with T5 experience can make it anyway

PMs sent. I don't have many tools, but I'll have a chat to my neighbour, maybe I can borrow some of his.

That's a shame. Cancel your trip :P

I downloaded a tutorial as well, so it should hopefully ensure we know what we're doing

Sweet. So far efgiar, gthofan, and gubas have offered to bring in jacks and stands. I think we're set in that department! We should be pretty good for tools now

I should be able to make it too dezza will confirm closer to the day, i've done 3 conversions now and changed a few clutches and pretty much know every bolt size etc, so between me and Josh we should have the mechanical side of it done in no time. I have all the tools needed including a clutch alignment tool and torque wrench etc.
