Lumpy exhaust note with a six cylinder = serious power
without changing stall converter, Ha.

Pull out 2 spark plug leads.

I was the first to have a Wade 1636 cam, without an aftermarket interceptor chip or ECU will get you round 117 Rkw and may hunt, with Interceptor and ECU will add 10 Rkw and run better/more power. 997B ??? Wade may be bigger

yeh it was good with the interceptor, ran it for over a year, streetable better takeoff with an auto, as far as you could go without changing the Torque converter, you can put an electronic shift kit in for that extra kick, but I never used mine all the time , just occasionally.

if u got an auto, stick with the 1636. has bout 148 thou lift. will run no worries. you just need shims. on the other hand, for manuals, go the 977B. no ecu or valve springs required it goes in just like the 1636. and has 256 thou lift. You might wanna bump your idle speed up a little, just to keep it from stalling occasionally. mmmmm lumpy power.

cheers
scott
