Hi can anyone help my AU 11 is leaking power steering fluid from the hose connected to pump , rubber grommet looks pretty worn so will replace in am ( does anybody know what size O ring ) but metal connector has about 2-3mm free play is this normal?? it will move back and forward?? does not leak while car running but leaks when stopped ?? please HELP

The swivel joiner has to be replaced as a complete unit about $10 from ford .However you have to cut the old one off, if you do a search on this thread you will find a few posts on this, just be aware that if you nick the tube in trying to remove the joiner you will have to replaces the whole line @ $ 140+

Just pushes on, There is a clip inside the fitting.

Thats the leaking pipe, is that the same part inwhich you are referring?
FO-BA3F656B - CONNECTOR PWR STRG - $11.88 FO-388898S - SEAL O-RING - $6.94 Total RRP locally = $18.82 Used a nut splitter... Here is a pic of what the nut splitter can do... New one clipped on and attached to car...

Yup Inferno SR thats the one, did it the slack way bought replacement from Repco $110 and done in an hour (pretty fiddly for a fat basterd like me )no leaks no fuss thanx for the help guys cheers.
