Default Help me

Hi.

Today i was going to do a cooling system flush.

So i bought some "Nulon Radiator Flush and Clean" and coolant.

So i put the Nulon cleaning stuff in it and begin the job.

BUT something has come up and i cant do it tonight.

It says to leave it in the system for around 1 hour.

So will it be ok to leave it like that for a a couple of days?...or not.

I dont think it would do any harm. If your worried about it let it sit there for an hour and then just un do the bottom radiator hose and let it run out.

I did, I drove around for a couple of days with it in. It may or may not have anything to do with the trans cooler collapse (4 months later) or the dead head gasket (12 months).

Taking the bottom hose clamp off take 5 minutes on a cold engine, if that. Leave the hose trickling through the top while you do whatever you have to do at home, before connecting and refilling it. My guess is 2 days without coolant (just water) will do far less damage than 2 days of radiator cleaner.
