I like it. For a tradie ute that you could go away for a weekend in it looks pretty good. The wheels are awful though, but nothing the aftermarket can't fix.

I'd rather a Wildtrak, or a XLT for that matter.

Ahh the one eyed Ford fans.
Cant say something nice about another car even if they got hit by one. Typical Toyota interior? Have you seen the interior from FG - FHX? Lol

I’d happily have that parked in my garage, although I’m not sure on the front bumper design as I would want an ARB bar.

It's just like any other run out model before the new one arrives, a bit of bling and some stickers and watch them fly out the door. They are good trucks and Toyota has been selling a heap of them for a long time.

I know 5 people with Hilux's made after 2007. None of them like and enjoy cars like most of us on here do, they pretty much just bought them because "It's a Hiluix, mate" |

Nah '07 Ranger was still a '98 Courier underneath.
However its 3L TD had much more poke than the Hilux.

Looks pretty ok. Less whitegoodish, decent serve of attitude, looks almost mini Cruiser from the front, better looking than the old TRD effort. Decent offering for those that must have a Toyota and like skipping test drives though the next gen should address that. Looks like stock images, leather always looks better when it's got that little wrinkle in it It'll sell plenty no doubt.

Even the 2.5/3.0 07 Ranger had it all over the 3.0 D4D power wise. The 3.2 is another league completely As for the Black, it looks quite nice from the front. Pretty considerate of Toyota to make it look good it in a rear view mirror! |

Looked at one of these and a ford ranger the other day, I test drove both and to me the hilux felt more refined in the way it drove and had a better fit and finish. I was super keen on the ranger after reading all the hype but it left me disapointed! It felt really cheap in the cabin, the wildtrax cooler in the center console was a joke. I couldn't really pick the power difference, but thats without any weight in either. I didnt end up buying either and went in another direction, but i can see why toyota still sell tonnes of them!
