I inspected my radiator hoses for deterieration and the lower hose feels pretty solid - almost as if theres a spring in there keeping it from 'collapsing'. Is this normal or is it clogged with crap?
I also need to remove the supply tank & give it a quick clean because it looks grubby.. what do you guys recomend? |

there is a spring in there, just on the corner.

for the tank you can put some sand and water/detergent in there then block all the holes and shake it around for a couple of minutes. then just drain it and flush out the sand should improve it a bit. if its gone really brown/rusty then it wont help much. new ones are under $100.
