Default EA a Small Fuel Filter Compared To EB/ED

Hey guys

originally my car was a heapa 3.9L CFI at jan 05, things have changed dramatically since then, everything has been changed over to EBII/ED spec, cept the Fuel Filter...

now i beilive the original Fuel filter (tiny one) is on there, im after a EB/ED one which is the bigger one, and my old man seems to beilive it wont fit on my car, (being it WAS CFI that the small filter will only fit) is he correct??

i would like to change the filter over to a bigger one of the EB/ED spec, n chuck out the EA small fuel filter ...

thanks!!
