Anyone be able to let me know the rough cost for putting in a LPG system into my EF.
And if it has any effect on the performance of the car, and if its worth it? Any ideas on a good palce in Melbourne to do it?

depends on how much work you are going to do to the engine
As standard OMVL kit fitted would be around $1500-$1700 A single convertor GRA kit around $1800'ish

If you're keeping the car for a long while, there is some justification for taking out a small loan (even on a credit card) and paying it off using the savings in fuel costs. That's what I plan to do anyway.
The best place to get a Tickford kit is from a wrecked tickford car. I had the lot in my EL wreck, I even kept the Tickford badge plate under the bonnet to annoy people with. |

the only thing that would be tricky with a tickford setup would be the wiring, a lot of it is well intergrated into the factory looms, and thus isntalling it would be a major pain.
you can get cheap LPG kits from wreckers, some installed.
