Default Small dent in chassis rail

Howdy, my AU has a small dent in the passenger side chassis rail, basically mid way down the length of the car - we're talking maybe 3-4cm maximum in diameter. Like a rock has dented it. Has created a little bulge on one side.

Is this a drama? I'm a little concerned, thinking I might see if I can get it fixed.

Thanks.

One of my rails has a decent ding in it from a rock (thank god the fuel rail protector was there too!) and it hasn't caused any troubles for me.

Sprung up while you were pushing it into the corner of the backyard no doubt

Possibly, my jack has a much wider lifting area, so I doubt it would have caused. Previous owner may have done so.

Good to know it's probably not a big deal.

I hit a piece of asphalt once doing 100k's. It hit the chassis rail and peeled it apart, hit a few spots under the car, and hit the fuel tank and I thought Id wrecked the car by the sound and the violence of it all.
