Default industrial/scaffolding piercing

Well guys I got a industrial/scaffolding piercing done thursday night... after talking about it for a few years...
for those who don't know this is what it is (picture attatched)

Anyways I was wondering those of you guys who have them, how do you care for them, and how long is the bleeding, whenever I clean the piercing I get blood on the swab from the inside of the top hole... I spouse thats just part of the 14 day healing processes...

Also, the piecer told me don't touch it for 2 weeks, but looking online it says that I should rotate it so it doesn't heel to it... so yeah any advice guys/girl?

cheers!

Lol. i think i was close to getting it done at one stage, cause my mum didn't know where it was, then she kept going on and on about having a bolt in my ear ... so meh ... lol. uhmm, the sea salt rocks, you get them from woolies, coles etc ... it's just 'non-crushed up salt' .... yeah, i heard the industrial was supposed to hurt, but the tragus hurts and bleeds alot more.

Nice work, my mate had his scaffold done but got to infected and had to be taken out.
Whatever you do DONT rotate it this causes it to take longer to heal. The piecing cannot get stuck when its healed up. Just make sure you clean it heaps with that sea water solution and try not to touch it with your fingers.

Ive got a couple of piecings and none have been infected. The worst one that ive had done is called a daith its right inside the ear and goes through about 1cm of cartilage to create the hole for the ring. Took about 6 months to heal up properly.

Yeah all I got to clean it with was "Protat soothing hygienic body piercing aftercare spray" which I gotta put on a swab...

I might go and get some of those sea salt rocks... make up some solution

clean it with Saline.

pour some saline in a shot glass. soak cotton balls in it, then hold them over the piercing.

rotate it in the shower.

worked for my eyebrow. til it got infected (cause i dropped a rowboat on my head, and it hit the ring) and then ripped out (thanks to some ******** at Big Day Out).

worked on my ears too.

I have this done, most of the people I know who have it got it done with the needle but when I got it done they did it with the gun! I reckon it hurt more then my belly! I also had my nose pierced but got over it and took it out. Although, I can still see where the whole is and I took it out well over 6 months ago!
