I reckon The Late Show was great. Mick certainly did add his own quality element to the show :P

Would be a cracker but the encoding is too big, especially 1 seed and 8 leechers.

Hopefully his new show lasts a little longer.

it is big encoding, but each show is almost 2 hours. quality is watchable, but nothing flash, and mono sound.

was d/l at around 300kb/s for me

Doesn't look like it has made it to DVD after a quick search of the EzyDVD site.

But Shonky Golf has!!!

I have the best bits of the Late Show DVD, as well as The Best & Second Best of the D-Generation. Absolute classics.

I'm trying to find the CD's that Martin/Molloy put out with clips from their radio show, I think there were three or four double cd's, but they're hard to find these days - its a case of keeping my eyes peeled in secondhand shops for them pretty much!

I've got the Brown Album and Green Peas (?) though I haven't seen the 2nd one for awhile so not 100% sure of its album name.

I've Brown Album in mp3 format to play on the iPod.

I've got all the albums from the Martin/Molloy radio show. Still have somewhere some of the original "Late Show" on VHS as well as the 2 DVD Best Bits.
I also have all the albums from the original D-Generation, Satanic Sketches and The Breakfast tapes. We drove to QLD last year and loaded the CD player with all of them. Funniest trip, remembering all that. Especially when they're interviewing the Prime Minister,.......Bob Hawke....hehe

HAHAHAHA that's it, I'm getting my DVD's out, ripping the Charlie The WonderDog theme song and setting it as a ringtone on my phone :P

I don't know why, but I didn't find Shitscared as funny as other sketches like Graham & The Colonel etc. I guess to me it just got a bit repetitive and predictable. Although, I still lose it every time I see that one where he goes to lift the burning pot and gets "Copperart" branded on his skin.

The bargearse movie that was made was brilliant. Must have been quite an effort to write something and dub it in a way that was very insync with the characters mouths.

Barge Ar$e was awesome ... I need to go hunting for these now ... I can't believe I don't have any of the D-Generation or The Late Show.

I have the albums from the radio shows though ... absolute classics.
Hmmm .. got them in the car actually ... might have a listen on the way home.

I bought a VHS box set ages ago, that had Bargearse and The Olden Days together. I've still got the VHS Tapes, but no handy VHS player these days!!! If only they would release those two on DVD!!!

Someone I know of was posting on another forum quite a while back about The Late Show, saying he had most (if not all) of the episodes on VHS, he taped them back in the day.

It was an awesome time for Australian Comedy.

The Late Show showed no respect for anybody and did what they want. They took the mickey out of religion, pressure groups and politics. They were rude, brash and downright disgusting.

And that is why I am proud to call them Australian, and myself a fan!

They couldn't put Bluey Bargearse on DVD because of copyright issues. I have "The Best Of" on DVD, but it doesn't represent THE best, only the best they could have without legal ramifications.

I hope that one day when some wiener drops his copyright thingy on the show that was originally Bargearse (whatever it was called), that The Late Show's Bargearse can be released on DVD, along with the other chunky stuff.

Damn copyright issues and legal ramifications. I love shows that push the boundary of what they can and can't do, I used to LOVE Comedy Inc's late shift with "Ernest the Engine Car" ("the fat cont, fat cont, fat controller"; "foc foc foc for crying out loud!") I always wondered how they got away with it, but because they did, I found it stupidly amusing.

Bargearse was originally "Bluey" and The Olden Days was called "Rush".

And I still love the mr Whippy Grand Prix - theres stuff on there that I'd love to see again, like Graham and the Colonel's Monica Seles video game, having to avoid the stabber.
