You cant get the spacer to fit? Thats odd.

Have you considered mounting them under the shelf?

Perhaps post in the Audio Section, they might know.

I think Simon has a gas tank in the boot, so no chance of mounting underneath the parcel shelf. Just go and buy some 5x7s.

Post MDF Spacers.......

Im on my way to JB HI-FI as im going to buy some MDF 6X9 speaker spaces so i can mount from underneath....Or JB HI-FI said they can cut out the rear parcel shelf so the 6X9's fit and they'll do it for $56- What do i do? There has to be other ways!

Cheers

I'm mounting 6x9's in mine, what im going to do is get spacers and mount them from the top, then get some black car carpet or similar and recover the grey rear shelf with the new carpet, plus the speakers are black as well, so theres not space between the factory grey bit and the new speakers

Talking Done..............

It's all done, i've used some MDF spaces which are great! All that needs to be done now is to paint them & screw them to the parcel shelf!

Cheers
