I stumbled across this whilst trawling through car sales.
http://carsales.com.au/private/details/ford-crown victoria-1998-11896309?R=11896309 No mention of a mounted shotgun coming with it though...

So it mentions it has all this police gear but then at the end all the gear has been removed..dont see how its a collectors item if it is just a standard crown vic in police colours without any of the gear.

In order to import it, all of it (the police equipment) would probably need to be removed (ie not connected), same with getting it registered on the road. He says the items are there, so youll get them in a nice pile probably and youll have to put it all back in yourself. (cant view any of pictures in the add for some reason)

It looks like the car is already in Australia in a couple of the photos, can't be really sure though

Not good value - that's a $3000 car in the states, no more than another $4k all up including taxes to get it here.
Still, pretty cool. Can't register it for another 20 years or so though!

True... as they cant sell a police car fully equipped, however strangely enough most of the equipment goes up for sale seperately! There is a growing club of ex police cars in the states (USA) being restored and fully equipped back to orginal. So you would be able to buy all the stuff and put it all back in (though im guessing its mostly disabled, one would hope!)

Has to be one of the funniest movies in a long time... and plenty of one liners which seemingly remain entrenched!

How much would it cost to convert one of these to RHD?
I would love to import a black Crown Vic LX Sport or a Lincoln Town Car. |

You'd have to be pretty soft in the head to pay 15k for something that is equal in equipment and performance to an ED GLi.. doesn't even have cruise control! And if you love big boats why not go for an NF/NL Fairlane, they're identical in size and handle better.
