I did a quick search and couldnt find anything on it, so if its here somewhere, well do what it is you do.
AC Cobra replica , $300k , yeah I was thinking that too, until I read the listing. Handmade aluminium shell with a 427. That would be handful to drive. Id love to have the talent to build something like that. |

Shot with the car on the Show Room floor, 3rd last one, see a Black XR5.
Pointless, but I just thought I'd mention it :hihi: |

And it’s even got the rear high mounted stop light required of all new cars.
If this is a Kirkham they have the option of going “unpainted” but with the normally Shelby white racing stripes done as a different finish (shininess) to the rest of the body. I’ll have a big block S/C with the wildwood racing brakes thanks, or a 289 FIA replica based on the 427 wishbone-suspensioned car (I think they offer a buggy spring alternative on the small block 289 mk 1 and 2 replicas).

Surely it would be MUCH cheaper to build your own?

Have seen pictures of one in brushed aluminium with polished racing stripes. Looked amazing. Was talking to a bloke the other day that makes replicas, one of the few kits legal for a big block, reckons anything over 400 horses is borderline suicidal!

Thats awsome, you woldn't want to paint i. And formed aluminium!
Cobra replicas seem to draw high prices anyway... ...don't they need to be individualy signed of buy an engineer?

Not digging the aluminium shell much, I'd prefer a lick of paint myself. |

That is an absolute weapon......or a death machine.
I reckon the engine's value alone is worth a good % of the 300k |
