What is you actually want mate?
I can naturally enough delete the images with number plates in them, but can't edit the actual images themselves. |

sorry mate i just want the number plates blacked out on my pics so no one can see what my number plate says

The plates need to be blacked out at the source, eg: your pc before they go on photobucket.
All we can do is remove the current pics and replace them with new ones (blacked out) when you upload them to photobucket and forward us the links. |

Even MS Paint can be used mate, its pretty simple to do.

it's probably the hard way but I open my original pic with paint, select the thickest black line and square up the plate and then fill in the plate with the lines to make it solid black. Hit the save button & done. Can't work out how to fill in the plate in one hit.
