There's nothing to be gained from 2 small turbos compared to 1 large one. Just means more low rpm torque but usually less outright punch.

a single t04 will get you stupid amounts of power, 2 are not needed.

Also a lot easier to setup and you save $$$ by going single turbo which produces the same if not more benefit that a twin setup.

See if you can find copies of the 'Workhorse Wakeup' articles that were in Zoom magazine some years ago. They twin turboed an XG Falcon ute (EB motor) using 2nd hand vg20det turbo's (cheap as chips and fairly abundant) custom manifolds, piping and intercooler, upgraded the injectors, retuned the EEC for 6lb of boost and the rwkw had gone from 98rwkw to 200ish rwkw.

I have Sphells kit these days
Why i went twins was simple, the kit was the same price as a decent single, so considering I was doing most of the fabrication work myself the biggest issue of cost was negated.. I researched for ages before deciding on a kit for my EL but from all reports and 'ricer' forums the twins were by far the better option on an engine that had copious amounts of factory torque. There is a little blurb in Zoom:- the mag Raptor is refering to. "In a world where sharp boost is paramount and lag considered evil, the rule of thumb would be always consider twin turbocharging for engines greater than 2L and with more than 4 cylinders. Set-up correctly, a twin turbo will always offer superior street response." THere is also an article on a twin turbo'd ute running only 7 psi graphed 205 rwkw with a nice linear curve.. A one time blurt down the track netted a 13.4@103mph... Having said all that it is a costly excersise to go twins unless you are a dab hand at fabrication..
