Default Pinto Conversion Parts

Hey Guys,
Im almost ready to drop a pinto in my 1600 escort (manual) but am strugling with a few parts. I am looking for a starter motor but no one seems to make one these days, even finding it impossible to find a second hand one, also I am going to need a longer accelerator cable to suit, no luck with that either, and I have also been told I will need a spacer for the clutch fork?? Anyone that knows of any of these parts around or suppliers that sell the would be a great help.

Thanks
